We headed to a small town about an hour and a half from Mexico city called Tepoztlán. It is a market town surrounded by hills. There is a pyramid atop one of them. The pyramid is not much to look at but the views and the climb are well worth it.
Tepoztlán is a lively spot. Lots of locals coming in for a bit of shopping and drinking. Liters of Mojitos or Michelada wander the streets attached to local hands. Very few gringos which suit us great.
There are lots of old churches to wander and great art spots. It really is a lovely town. On our last night there we try to local Mezcal for the first time, it was gooooood, “uno mas” “uno mas” a few.
